Art After Dark is a weekly uninstructed figure drawing (and painting) workshop that meets each Wednesday night, from 7:00 to 10 PM.
Join us this Wednesday when our featured model will be actor Shaun Gerardo as a
Mafia Hitman.5 to 15 minute poses.
We have costumed models in fun illustrative themes on even numbered dates, and classic nude or ( semi-nude) figure drawing on odd numbered dates. We also mix it up between long pose for painting ans short poses for sketching.
We have easles, drawing horses, tables and chairs, and sinks for cleaning up those charcoal-covered hands! We also have refreshments, beer and wine (over 21 with ID), plenty of free parking. Admission is $10 at the door, or just $8 if you pay in advance with Paypal. You can save up to $15 when you get a set of 4 workshops!

August 4: Model Shandi in a long pose for painting, costumed as a Punk Rocker chick complete with Mohawk. Should be great fun!
August 11 : Classic figure drawing with model Jonny... poses from 5 to 25 minutes...a great chance to fill your sketchbook with studies of the idealized male physique.
August 18: Long pose, undraped female model, possible pin-up theme to be announced.
August 25: This will be a night for short action poses with a costumed male model, possibly in a Braveheart warrior theme...to be confirmed soon.
