Portfolio Development
Ages 12 and Up
Studio
Sinaloa's instructors can help budding young artists begin to prepare
and develop a portfolio foward their future desired career goal. We
enjoy working with Middle School kids who wish to apply to a specialized
visual arts high school, and with for High School students who wish
to apply to an arts college.
Students
will become familiar with the use of many different art materials
such as graphite, colored pencils, pen and ink and watercolors.
Concepts
of color theory, perspective and composition will be taught using
still life and drawing projects tailored to each individual student's
goals. As students gain technical skills, they will be challenged
to express their individual creativity with more interpretive assignments.
