Yes! Kids CAN do oil painting! Miss Jo has over ten years experience teaching beginners ages 6 and up! Miss Jo will teach your child all the basic drawing skills and how to apply them to build a solid foundation for creating oil, paintings. Kids will learn color theory, color mixing, blending and layering techniques.
As students gain more confidence in handling oil paint, they are encouraged to design and create their own unique imaginative compositions, and are free to explore different artistic styles. Your child can also learn basic drawing Watercolor, Pastels, or Acrylic if you wish. Small class sizes allow the lessons to be customized to your child's interests and artistic goals.
