Kids' Anime Sculpture

(Ages 10 and up)

(Learn how to scuplt life-like 3-dimensional clay models of your favorite cartoon or anime characters! During this 12 week course, you will discover how to build a wire framework, called an armature to support your sculpture.

You will then begin adding bits of clay to form the figure. Miss Maggie will show you how to use different tools to depict fine details of the faces and clothing of your character.

By the end of the 12 week session, you should be able to complete one fairly detailed sculpture, or two smalller, simpler sculptures.

This class is designed for kids ages 10 and up who have had some prior drawing experience.

Course fee is $384 for the 12 weeks of instruction. There is an additional materials fee of $25 payable directly to the inistructor on the first day of class. This covers the clay, armature wire, modeling tools and paints.
